Code igniter is not bad but laravel provides more than code igniter. Also laravel is full stack and well mature framework and has good community too. Laravel gives you the flexibility for architectung the app the way you wish to. Laravel has good eloquent orm and awesome blade templating system where ci does not have these type of components Reply

The question is, how many concurrent requests are you expecting? Very few websites actually get enough traffic to care about number of concurrent requests. I'd say choose what you know and build from that. Code igniter is a great framework! Reply

404 error causes are many. Basically 404 means path you mentioned is not correct or there is no file in the path you mentioned. There are several reason for it. 1.Wrong Class name and file name. 2.View file name may be different. 3.Method in your controller name may not be matching. These are some main problems which causes 404 in code igniter Check those first. Reply

No it's not supported in Code Igniter. However if you want to redirect from controller method to another then you can use redirect(‘controller name/method’). For that you need to have library if that function needs in many different controller. Reply
